PLATE AND FIN
Secan designs and produces a variety of plate and fin heat exchangers. Available in aluminium, stainless-steel/Inconel, Secan heat exchangers are designed for applications subject to high temperature such as air conditioning system (ECS), vapor cycle (VCS) or engine bleed, and for fluids cooling for lubrification or hydraulic systems.
Our heat exchangers are assembled by vacuum or salt bath brazing (core) and welding (pans, brackets, frames, etc.). Stainless-steel heat exchangers can be fully assembled using our brazing expertise, therefore ensuring that the links between different components can resist high mechanical loads.
Secan can integrate its heat exchangers with a fan, in-house designed valves, ducting, insulation, fittings and many other value-added hardware to meet the needs of its customers. Secan heat exchangers can also integrate temperature and / or pressure control systems. Finally, Secan also offers multiple circuit designs that are advantageous in applications where space is limited and more than one cooling path is required.
Heir to a long know-how in the design and production of tubular heat exchangers, and thanks to the operations feedback of more than 10,000 products in service, Sean offers an appropriate range intended for applications subjected to internal pressures high temperatures such as high-pressure engine oil cooling.
Secan offers liquid to liquid, liquid to air or air to air tubular heat exchangers. Secan can integrate its tubular heat exchangers with valves, sensors, filters and fittings, many other value-added accessories to meet its customers’ needs. Multiple circuit designs are also available for applications where space is limited and more than one cooling path is required.
Secan develops cold plates used, in most cases, for power electronics cooling. Depending on the powers to be dissipated and the cooling fluids (air or liquid), they can integrate high-performance exchange surfaces (high power) or machined circulation channels (low power).
Secan is also developing surface exchangers for various fluids cooling by external dynamic air circulation.
